Emanuel Synagogue Woollahra
New North Wing Education Centre at
Emanuel Synagogue Started as a “design
competition” then progressed to a concept
plan / presentation.
To create a multi-purpose beautiful and
architecturally interesting light filled space to
include the following components:
• An intimate/small prayer space
• An education centre/classroom/s
• A library
• dedicated youth/teens/Netzer space
The feel of the new space is to utilise the
sunny aspect and allow for large glass walls
/windows designed to produce a unique
architectural sculpture.
This building is visible from Ocean Street and
has potential to further elevate the campus
beauty, light and warm feel.
